What's been happening...

Well, we've found two chairs we like and have decided to hunt for some fabric to recover them (it's called "up cycling" now isn't it?) That's what Kirstie Allsop called it on "Kirstie's Vintage Home" last night! The original idea was to do brown patchworks (like the blue cushions) but finding brown fabrics that looked good together was impossible, so we're back to the drawing board of which fabric to choose, the room has a brown feature wall, so we need something to go with that!

Our project...

We had a family day out to the Alexandrina Cheese Factory (another one ticked off our staycation list) All four of us like our cheese, so it was a yummy lunch had by all.

Can't get this picture to turn either!!!

Whale season has started here now, so we went Whale Watching at Bashams Beach on the public holiday and saw one whale spraying, but it was quite a way out, hopefully we get to see some a bit closer before the season ends.

Quinn is officially off, he started crawling this week and now there's no stopping him, he's still fairly slow but loves all plug sockets and electrical wires!!! Darcy thinks it's hilarious now he's moving; "Where's Quinn going now?" is all we keep hearing. He thinks it's very funny when he's on the loo and Quinn crawls into him!

He's off!
Hasn't figured the stairs out yet!!!

We had hat day at playgroup last week and had lots of fun in our beanie hats. Luckily it was a bit of a chilly day.

Here are some of the most recent view photos, as you can see the wintery weather is upon us...

Nice rainbow shot over our neighbours

Stormy, but we can still see The Bluff, on really rainy days we can't see the sea!
