Baby Group

Today Darcy, Quinn and I headed back to Adelaide for a picnic at Souter Park, Goodwood with Darcy's "Baby Group". We all met back in January 2011 at our CYH Mum's group and most of us have kept in touch ever since.

As time has passed and we have either returned to work/moved house/had other babies, we haven't been able to meet as regularly as we used to, but we do keep in touch with monthly get togethers.

It's been really great having our littlies all so close in age (the oldest and youngest are only 4 weeks apart and most of them were born in the same week) to talk through different stages as we get to them.  We've been through solid foods, sitting, crawling, walking and now talking and toilet training!!!

We all love meeting up and sharing the ups and downs of parenting with each other. It's great to see how the littlies have all changed and what they've started doing that they weren't the month before. I always hear from older friends how friendships from Mother's Groups last for years and I'm sure we will all stay friends in the years to come and continue to share each stage of life...
