A week of firsts

This week has been a week of first; Darcy had his first swimming lesson. It was good fun, he enjoyed it and was very confident considering it was his first time, he has always loved the water though.
Getting to grip with the float

Quinn started on solid food, with a little bit of avocado. He wasn't overly keen at first, but it's growing on him. He's now tried avocado, baby rice, watermelon and banana...I'd forgotten how much more work is involved once you make the move to solids, my freezer is now stocked with various ice cube fruits and veggies.

Not sure about his first bit of avocado...

...maybe it's not too bad after all!
Darcy had his first game of ten pin bowling. It was a fun trip out and was something a bit different to the usual trips to the park, etc (we had to think out of the box, as we're having a spell of unseasonably cool weather, before we head back up to 34 next week?)

Daddy and Darcy all ready to go
Watching the bowl come back (and feeling the air on his fingers) was fun
"How did I go Dad?"
A quick picture with Mummy
Oh and Terry actually had some time off work!!!Not sure we'll have quite as many firsts next week
