I'm not quite sure where the last month has gone, it seems to have flown by and now it's August (this month my baby turns one?!!?) We've been busy with house bits and bobs, we've continued our up cycling and also bought some new furniture and (after almost a year here) the house is finally looking a little more "homely".
This is our up cycled chair, bought it from Gumtree for $25, cut the legs down and sprayed it white, total cost $55, would have been even cheaper if I'd had more patience with spray painting and hadn't had to buy a second can (same thing $89 from IKEA) We're pleased with the finished article...

Mum's now finished recovering the cushions on the chairs we bought and we now have a new sofa for our upstairs lounge, we've also got another sofa, rug, coffee table and new TV unit for the family room, so both rooms are pretty much finished now.
Family room with new additions feels more cosy now.
