Here's a few snippets of our lead up to the festive season and the start of 2014;
Pat & Ivor's Visit:
Lovely to see family and have them meet and get to know the boys.
A visit to our local wildlife park, Urimbirra:
Beautiful place to have a wonder though if you are down on the Fleurieu, very friendly kangaroos and koalas.
The Wiggles!
Darcy and I had a trip to Adelaide to see The Wiggles Show, it was good fun (tiring for a three year old) but worth doing.
Watching the Goolwa Pageant:
Our second of three pageants this year, the first one we went to accidentally (don't ask!)
Starring in (and winning) the Victor Harbor Pageant:
Terry volunteered us to be on the float for the Toy Library, the kids as an elf and fireman...
Us in Tiger and Unicorn onesies!!!!
Christmas:
A very special time when you are seeing it through children's eyes again x
It was a lovely warm night and we went to friend's who overlook Victor Harbor, Darcy managed to stay up until the early fireworks at 9:45, Quinn even woke up just before they started so he got to see them too!
Family Bike Ride in McLaren Vale:
We hired bikes from Onya Bike Hire and had a ride to Serafino Winery for a picnic and back to The Almond Train for milkshakes (they have over 100 flavours, including "squashed frog")
It's been a lovely busy few months, and hopefully this will continue into the New Year, it seems to have started that way already, we spent last weekend catching up with friends and have plans to do the same for the rest of the month, which is always a nice way to spend your some time.
Also got a bit of renovating on the cards, spent today at IKEA, so we have furniture to put together for the new spare/playroom reno, then Terry is measuring up the laundry room to try and organise that a bit better...
(once I figure out how I can photo stream from the ipad without a Wi-Fi connection, I will be able to add a few more photos!!!)
