We spent Easter Sunday at The Goolwa Animal Farm and it was such a lovely day.
There were plenty of hands on experiences with the different animals, which Darcy really enjoyed (Quinn was only interested in the chickens, and mainly the ugly scrawny looking ones, but none of the cute fluffy animals caught his attention at all!)
There is a clever musical garden which also kept the boys busy, they really enjoyed making different sounds.
The area that impressed me the most, was the large picnic space. The picnic tables are set up around a circular area which has a big space for the children to play; there's a cubby house, sand pit, water play, giant Jenga and boules. It kept the boys busy for ages, I sat and leisurely ate my lunch and chatted to Mum for over an hour (I don't think I've done this since before I had children!)
If you live this way, or fancy a good day out, it's well worth a visit.
